Beneve is committed to providing a private and secure experience across the Beneve 4 Life app. This policy explains how we collect, use, retain, and delete your personal and health information. We may update this policy from time to time, so please review it periodically.

Information We Collect

Account creation for Beneve 4 Life takes place exclusively on the Beneve website (beneve.com). The app is accessible only to existing Beneve customers and Influencers who log in using their website credentials. Profile information such as your name, date of birth, and email address is collected at the time of account creation on the website and is governed by the Beneve website Privacy Policy. To deliver core fitness tracking and health insights within the app, Beneve 4 Life also accesses the following health data from your device — collected via direct user input and authorized integrations with Apple HealthKit and Google Health Connect:

Activity & Fitness — Steps, distance, and calories burned. Vital Signs — Heart rate and heart rate variability (HRV). Sleep — Duration, quality metrics, and sleep stages (light, deep, REM). Nutrition — Logged meals, hydration, and caloric/macronutrient intake. Workouts — Type, duration, intensity, and frequency of exercise.

This health data is used exclusively for fitness progress tracking, personal health visualization, and participation in community challenges. It is never used for advertising or any other purpose.

User Consent

Before the app accesses any health or sensitive data for the first time, you will be prompted to grant explicit permission for each data category. You may choose to grant or deny access to individual health data types independently. The app will not collect health data without your prior consent. If you deny a permission, the app will continue to function — core features such as manual workout logging, step tracking, and nutrition entry remain fully available without requiring access to optional data categories such as heart rate or HRV.

The app will not attempt to manipulate, re-prompt excessively, or otherwise circumvent your permission decisions. Your choices are always respected.

Third-Party Services and SDKs

To operate and improve the app, Beneve 4 Life integrates the following third-party services, which may collect limited data as described:

Analytics and Crash Reporting — We use tools such as Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics (Google LLC) to monitor app performance, diagnose crashes, and understand feature usage. These services collect anonymized device identifiers, session data, and diagnostic logs. This data is used solely for app stability and performance improvement and is not linked to your health information.

Cloud Infrastructure — Your account data and health records are stored on secure cloud servers. These service providers operate under strict confidentiality agreements and process your data only on our behalf.

Payment Processing (Shop) — When you make a purchase through the in-app shop, payment information is processed by third-party payment processors (such as NMI). Beneve 4 Life does not store your full payment card details. The payment processor's own privacy policy governs the handling of your billing and payment information.

None of these third-party services are permitted to use your data for their own advertising purposes. Where required, they are bound by data processing agreements consistent with applicable privacy laws.

Information Disclosure

Your personal and health information is shared only with Beneve, its agents, and authorized representatives. We will not disclose your information except with your express permission or as required by law. Beneve complies with all valid legal and governmental requests, and may disclose account information where necessary to prevent harm to our users or operations.

Health data accessed via Apple HealthKit or Google Health Connect is never shared with third-party advertisers. We do not sell, rent, or trade your health data under any circumstances.

In-App Shop and WebView

The Beneve 4 Life app includes an in-app shop that loads the Beneve website (beneve.com/shop) within a WebView. When you access the shop, you are browsing content served from the Beneve website. The following applies:

Browsing and Session Data — The shop WebView may collect cookies, session identifiers, and browsing activity data consistent with how the Beneve website operates. This data is handled in accordance with the Beneve website Privacy Policy, available at beneve.com/privacy-policy.

Website Privacy Policy — When you interact with the in-app shop, the Beneve website privacy policy applies in addition to this app privacy policy. We encourage you to review both policies. A link to the website policy is available within the shop.

No In-App Purchases — The in-app shop displays products available on the Beneve website. All purchases are completed through the website checkout and payment flow. The app does not facilitate direct in-app purchases and does not include promotional 'Buy Now' buttons that operate outside the standard website experience.

Payment Processors — Payments made through the shop are processed by our third-party payment processors. Your billing information is handled by those processors via their API and is not stored by the Beneve 4 Life app.

Data Retention

Your personal and health data is retained for the duration of your active account. If your account remains inactive for 12 consecutive months, we will notify you and permanently delete your data within 30 days of that notification unless you reactivate. Diagnostic and usage data is automatically purged after 12 months. Data required to be held under legal obligation is retained only for the duration of that obligation.

Data Deletion

You have the right to request deletion of your personal and health data at any time through any of the following methods:

In-App — Go to Settings > Account > Delete My Account. Upon confirming your request, all your data will be permanently erased from our servers within 30 days and you will receive an email confirmation.

By Email — Send a request to [email protected] with your registered email address and full name. We will verify your identity and process your request within 30 days.

Note: Data synced via Apple HealthKit or Google Health Connect must be separately removed from those respective platform apps, as deleting your Beneve 4 Life account does not automatically clear data stored within Apple Health or Google Health.

Revoking Health Data Access

You may revoke the app's access to your health data at any time through your device's system settings. On iOS, go to Settings > Health > Apps > Beneve 4 Life and toggle off any data categories you wish to restrict. On Android, go to Settings > Apps > Beneve 4 Life > Permissions to manage health data access. Revoking access will stop new data from being collected but will not automatically delete data already stored in your account.

The app will not attempt to re-request permissions you have declined or prompt you in a way designed to override your decision. Your permission settings are always respected.

Cookies and Session Data

Beneve 4 Life uses device-based identifiers and session tracking to analyze usage trends, improve app performance, and personalize your experience. The in-app shop WebView may also set cookies from the Beneve website. This information may be used to keep you informed of new features and updates relevant to your Beneve 4 Life experience.

Data Security

All data transmitted between your device and our servers is encrypted in transit. Stored health and personal data is protected with encryption at rest. Access is restricted to authorized Beneve personnel on a strict need-to-know basis, and we conduct regular security assessments to maintain the integrity of our systems. While we take all reasonable precautions, no method of transmission or storage is entirely without risk.

Children's Privacy

Beneve 4 Life is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has submitted information through the app, please contact us at [email protected] and we will promptly delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves or as laws change. Material updates will be communicated via in-app notification or email. Continued use of the app after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
